Target Audience Hiring managers and supervisors; group leaders involved in the hiring process.
Objective To hire new employees who have a high probability of success by using behavior-based interviewing techniques.
Course Content After mastery of this course, you will be able to: assess the business and personal impact of selection decisions; identify and reduce bias and error in the selection process; plan a selection strategy including prescreening methods to efficiently hire the right candidates; identify the skills needed for the job and develop interview questions based on those skills; conduct a structured, legally defensible, behaviorally-based interview to gain information about job skills; sell the opportunity to the candidate and make selection decisions by rating candidate skills.
Instructor's Comments If you withdraw from the class 10 business days or fewer before the scheduled date and do not find a replacement, or, if you fail to attend on the scheduled date, you will be charged $200.
