Explore the User Interface Explore the Ribbon Create a Basic Document Edit a Document Formatt Text Formatt Paragraphs Add Tables Insert Graphic Objects Control Page Appearance Proof a Document
Course Content Explore the various components of the Microsoft Office Word environment. Create and save a document. Edit documents by locating and modifying text. Format text and paragraphs by changing font appearance, setting tabs, adding borders and shading, applying styles, and creating lists. Create, modify, and format a Table. Add Visual Effects using symbols and special characters and insert illustrations. Proof documents to make them more accurate. Control page layout, apply a page border and color, add watermarks and headers and footers. Check spelling, grammar and word count. Enhance textual meaning using the Thesaurus. Customize AutoCorrect options.
