|Prerequisites||LS000505/CR -- Interaction Management|
|Requal. Interval||One Time Only|
|Target Audience||Managers and supervisors who have completed Interaction Management or the Fermilab Management Practices Seminar (FMP)|
|Objective||This workshop is a follow-up to the Interaction Management workshop series and the Fermilab Management Practices seminar. The workshop is designed to develop a specific coaching/management action plan for a particularly tough, real-life coaching challenge. In this workship managers and supervisors will:
*sharpen their coaching and problem solving skills by helping coach peer managers throughout the workshop and *reinforce the key concepts and skills taught in the Interaction Management course.
|Course Content||The Coaching Forum is a capstone course in the Interaction Management series. It is not a lecture course in which you are introduced to key concepts and skills and are then given the opportunity to practice and apply them.
Instead, this half-day workshop provides a forum for managers to bring a particularly tough real-life, coaching challenge to the attention of other managers - for the purpose of gaining valuable insight from one another and creating a specific coaching/management action plan.
To help stimulate these valuable insights, the workshop will include a brief review of the key concepts and skills from the prerequisite courses (noted above) and place emphasis on applying these concepts to the specific coaching challenges identified by the workshop participants.
|Instructor's Comments||There is no fee for this class. However, if you withdraw from the class 10 business days or fewer before the scheduled date and do not find a replacement, or, if you fail to attend on the scheduled date, you will be charged $200.|
