Target Audience People who would like direct experience with basic Mathematica 6 features.
Objective To provide direct experience with all of the basic features of Mathematica 6 as well as a foundation for developing advanced applications of the system.
Course Content You will receive hands-on instruction in performing basic operations, building up computations, and navigating the user interface. The course will also cover an introduction to the Mathematica programming language emphasizing familiar programming tasks using procedural, functional, and rule- based programming; visualization and graphics including creation of dynamic and interactive graphics; importing and exporting data and files, file formats, file paths, working with data collections, visualization of large data sets.
