| Target Audience | People who want to use Dreamweaver to design and develop a Web Site. |
| Objective | During this class you will: Create a Web site structure on your local machine, explore the Dreamweaver environment, add HTML Pages, set document properties. Organize site files using the Files panel. Create templates to help you develop multiple pages easily. Create a navigation bar using behaviors and by using the Insert Navigation Bar Tool. Insert, modify and edit images, add Flash buttons and text to a page. Identify the different types of links and create them for easy navigation. Create an effective user-navigation interface. Manage libraries and snippets. Work with style sheets, layers, insert rich media objects and combine layers with behaviors. Use the History panel, record and save steps. Manage head elements, edit Meta Tags and customize keyboard shortcuts. Target websites to specific versions of browsers, test browser compatibility, convert pages to earlier versions, add a behavior to check the browser version. Examine coding tools, integrate XML-based data, use Design notes and comments and transform XML with XSLT. Set up forms, add form elements and validate forms. |
