Target Audience Supervisors and managers who have human resource management responsibility.
Objective To understand employees' rights and managers' responsibilities under the law; to develop skills and learn best practices for managing employees within the law; and to learn when to seek expert assistance.
Course Content This course provides you with a current overview of the laws relating to people management. Topics include: EEO laws, fair employment practices, harassment prevention, successful performance management, FMLA, ADA, and FLSA.
Instructor's Comments There is no fee for this course. However, if you withdraw from the class 10 business days or fewer before the scheduled date and do not find a replacement, or, if you fail to attend on the scheduled date, you will be charged $200.
